MSP Parking for Minneapolis Airport

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is the biggest airport in the Upper Midwest area. It is a joint civil-military airport and lies inbetween Minneapolis and Saint Paul, which is the state capital of Minnesota. Both cities are called “Twin Cities” and form a big metropolitain area. There are two terminals:

  • Terminal 1 (formerly ” Lindbergh” terminal) – 117 gates across seven concourses with the letters A-G
  • Terminal 2 (formerly “Humphrey” terminal) – 14 gates across one concourse with the letter H

International arrivals are processed in Terminal 2 and in the G concourse of Terminal 1. Both terminals are not next to each other and disconnteced by one of the four runways.

While there is a direct way via the Light Rail Transit (LRT), cars have to drive around this runway to get to the other terminal.

For MSP parking there are options for short and long term parking directly at terminals. The above mentioned LRT is called METRO Blue Line and easily connects both terminals for passengers. This public transport goes up to downtown Minneapolis as well.

Most parking options are named after colors.

For Terminal 1 there are Green, Gold, Blue, Red, Silver, Pink and Brown Ramps. For Terminal 2 there are Purple and Orange Ramps.
